The Dress

Many girls don't wear dresses anymore. They think it makes them look babyish. They think that the daffodil colour party dress that their mother picked out last summer is soooo out of style. Here are some do's and dont's on how to pull off a dress without looking six.

Do

Straight dresses with funky belts at the waist
One colour end-above-the knee
Flowery Prints (But make sure they don't look too 1944 ish)
Prints and Graphics
Ruffles at the front
Tank top straps
Cool accesories
Sundresses
Striped straight dresses
Sequins (But make sure they don't look babyish or tacky)
Playsuits/ Rompers (Not exactly dresses but they fall into my category of dresses)
Satinish tasteful dresses for formal occasions
Bows
Jackets
Light materials
Flowers
Tights
Sewn On Sash/Belt for formal dresses
Two different parts sewn together (could be different colours)
Black top and different skirt sewn together
Netted overskirt

Don't

Flouncy Party Dresses
Flouncy+ Lace+ Sparkles
Super tight (so tight that your body can't breath)
Full of slits
Super short
Pastel colours with loud coloured belts
Sparkles/ Sequins tackily arranged
Strange colour combos like shocking pink with electric blue
Too many bows
Too many flowers
